Internet Explorer - IE8 Command Line Switches

To Start IE8 and launch a specific URL:

• iexplore.exe <URL>
• e.g.
• iexplore.exe http://www.andrew-henderson.me.uk

Start IE8 in Kiosk Mode: (IE Runs in Full Screen Mode with all tollbares and menus bars NOT displayed)

• iexplore.exe -k

Start IE8 in Private Mode (Any browsing data will not be stoed.  This includes Cookies, Temporary Internet files, history etc):

• iexplore.exe -private

Start IE8 with No Add-Ins:

• iexplore.exe -extoff
