Microsoft Office - Multiple versions of Word (2003 & 2007) on the same PC.  Stop file association changes.

When running multiple versions of Word (2003 and 2007), to stop the file associations being changed each time you go into a Word document, you need to change the following registry information: 

• Start Registry Editor
• Navigate to the following registry subkey:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word\Options

• Add a new REG_WORD of 'NoReReg' and set the value to 1.

• Exit Registry Editor.
