To allow usage of USB Memory sticks for a Non-Administrator in Windows XP:
1. Launch Regedit.exe.
2. Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
3. Add the following "REG_SZ" Registry Key:
AllocateDASD
4. Change the Value of this entry to one of the following:
0 - Administrators only
1 - Administrators and power users
2 - Administrators and the interactive user.
5. Restart the PC for the change to take affect.
