Windows XP - Custome welcome picture

To disable caching of Network Files (Not Redirected or User Specified) in Windows XP, do the following:

Launch Regedit.exe

Navigate to:

'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\NetCache

Change the 'LinkTargetCaching' 'REG_DWORD' value to '1'.

Change the 'Enabled' 'REG_DWORD' value to '1'.

Reboot for the changes to take effect.
